Elderly couple lovingly dance to a busker in Wolverhampton city centre

A dancing couple have become an internet hit after waltzing their way round a city centre to the simple accompaniment of an accordion.
Joan Culberwell, 86 and partner of 40 years, Thomas McGonigal, 84, brought Strictly to the streets when they broke out into an impromptu ballroom dance. The pair, who met at a dancing class, delighted dozens of passers-by with their ballroom routine to the sounds of a nearby busker at lunchtime on Monday (4/8). Scores of shoppers and workers stopped in Wolverhampton city centre to watch the quick-footed couple and soon began to cheer and clap at the heart-warming scene. Thomas, a former brick layer, said: “We have both started dancing when we were about 14. We love it.
