A former scrap metal dealer has discovered a new way to make money from his materials - by creating these stunning gold TREES.
Pat Drinkwater, 76, spends all day sculpting the intricate pieces from coils of copper which he has bought from fellow dealer friends. He uses a soldering iron to attach branches to the design, before plating them in gold and setting them out for display.
