It's a dining experience to make your skin crawl. This pop-up 'pestaurant' came to Edinburgh as part of the 85th birthday celebrations of pest control experts Rentokil.Among the creepy crawly cuisine on offer to the public was BBQ mealworms, scorpion lollipops and salted grasshoppers.Sweet chilli pigeon burgers also had diners in a flap at the one-day event along with roasted locusts and bugs dipped in chocolate. Rentokil staff were on hand to answer questions about the gruesome grub and give advice about pest problems. Some experts have suggested that insects are actually valuable foods because they are rich in protein, zinc, calcium and iron and low in fat.
