Harvey the kitten with no front leg bones is finally rehomed
  • 5 years ago
He was the adorable rescue kitten whose plight touched hearts across the world after he was born with horribly deformed front legs. Yet eight months on, Harvey has learned to overcome his disability and has started to venture into the outside world like any other cat. His devoted foster carer Liz McCulloch has set up a special 'Harvey zone' in her garden with logs and steps for him to climb in safety, and wood chips to soften his landings. The intrepid cat has built up his confidence and now happily plays in the garden of Liz's home in Blairdadie, Glasgow. He has made such good progress that although he is being monitored every month by vets, planned debilitating surgery on his legs has now been postponed.
