Norland Nannies get skidpan training and self defence class

Trainee nannies at one of Britain's most prestigious finishing school are being taught subjects that would even make Mary Poppins blush - including self-defence and stunt driving lessons to protect against KIDNAPPERS. Norland College, in Bath, Somerset, have been training professional nannies since 1892 and have been responsible for looking after the children of the rich and famous. But, to meet the needs of modern parents, the college has now added the fast and furious skid pan training and martial arts self-defence to their curriculum in a bid to keep their charges as safe as possible. Students now undergo rigorous stunt and evasive techniques to enable them to drive at high speed in any weather conditions and escape the potential grip of attackers, or to flee trailing would-be kidnappers.
