105 year old romantic author talks of 123 novel career

Prolific Ida Pollock is the secret author behind more than 120 steamy romance novels - and she's still making hearts flutter at the age of 105. Ida's passion-fuelled tales of virgins, chaste kisses and dashing male heroes have made female readers swoon for nine decades. She's churned out 123 novels to date and as many as eight in a single year, with risqué titles such as White Heat, Interlude for Love and The Garden of Don Jose entertaining millions of fans. And yet the modest pensioner's achievements have gone largely unnoticed by the British public because she's spent her entire career writing behind a string of unassuming pen names.
