Shopkeeper sees off robber with bottle of Lucozade

A courageous shop keeper was lucky to escape with his life after he fought off a knife-wielding masked raider - with a bottle of LUCOZADE. Veerasingam Senthooran, 31, was working behind the till at the Stanhope Mini Market in Ashford, Kent, when he was confronted by the thug. Wearing a black hoody and carrying a large kitchen knife, the masked man demanded the father-of-one hand over the contents of the till. But startling CCTV footage shows brave Mr Senthooran chucking a bottle of Lucozade and a bottle of vodka at the masked man - forcing the raider to flee the scene.
