Christmas Lights Burnham-on-Sea 2012

Britain's most festive cul-de-sac burst into colour when the homeowners switched on their illuminations - with almost 100,000 blazing Christmas lights. Six jolly families on Trinity Close in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, have paid around £3,000 each for 15,000 fairy lights which cover their homes and gardens.Their homes are also adorned with sparkling Santas, reindeers and snowmen until the New Year - making the street one of the brightest in Britain during the Christmas period.
