गंगटोक से लगभग 78 किमी की दूरी पर स्थित नामची, सिक्किम का एक खूबसूरत पर्यटन स्थल है। अपनी पहाड़ी सौंदर्यता के बीच यह गंतव्य सिक्किम के सबसे बड़े संतों में से एक गुरु पद्मसंभव दुनिया में सबसे बड़ी की विशाल प्रतिमा के लिए जाना जाता है। यह एक भव्य मूर्ति है जिसकी खूबसूरती की जितनी तारीफ की जाए उतनी कम है। यह विशाल प्रतिमा तिब्बत के इतिहास का अभिन्न अंग बन चुकी है। इसके अलावा राज्य का यह प्रसिद्ध शहर अपने बौद्ध मठों और बर्फ से ढकी पर्वतीय चोटियों के लिए भी काफी प्रसिद्ध है।

नामची आत्मिक-मानसिक शांति के लिए एक खास स्थल है, दूर-दराज से पर्यटक यहां मानसिक आराम पाने के उद्देश्य से भी आते हैं। आप यहां सिक्किम के सबसे प्रसिद्ध रालंग मठ की सैर का प्लान बना सकते हैं। मठ की संरचना काफी आकर्षक है जिसे देखने मात्र के लिए सैलानी यहां खींचे चले आते हैं।


नामची में आप पवित्र स्थान सोलोफोक चरमहम की सैर का भी प्लान बना सकते हैं। यह सिक्किम के सबसे पवित्र स्थानों में से एक है जहां भगवान शिव की 87 फीट लंबी प्रतिमा मुख्य आकर्षम का केंद्र है। यह विशाल मूर्ति बारह ज्योतिर्लिंगों की प्रतिकृतियों और भारत चार धामों से घिरा हआ है।
