Asian giant hornets kill dozens in China

More than two dozen people have been killed in attacks by Asian Giant Hornets in China, officials say.

Meanwhile, hundreds have also been injured after being stung by the insects. The attacks have mostly taken place in remote areas in southern Shaanxi Province.

Asian Giant Hornets can grow up to 2.6 and 4.5cm long, with their stingers measuring a little under 1cm. — Reuters
