BJP calls for a statewide bandh on the issue of farmer loans

Even as the JD(S)-Congress coalition government of H.D. Kumaraswamy won a trust vote on Friday, the BJP has now called for a statewide bandh today on the issue of farmer loans. During the trust vote the BJP legislators had even staged a walkout while B.S. Yeddyurappa had reminded Kumaraswamy of his promise to waive off loans amounting to almost Rs 53,000 crore, including those borrowed from nationalised banks.
