Sydney Firefighters Rescue Pet Alpaca From Mud

Rescuers received a bizarre call-out to save an alpaca, who became bogged in a muddy dam on a property in Londonderry, Sydney’s northwest, on Sunday, May 27.Fire & Rescue Station officer Bill Smith said Magnum the alpaca was hauled from the mud with the help of lassos by nine men, Nine reported.Owner Brock Cauchi, who received the animal as a birthday present in 2011, said Magnum was in good health, despite being “very stressed” at the time.
