At least ten people have died in India from a rare virus known as Nipah virus.
It's usually found in fruit bats and is said to have a death rate of 70 percent, with no vaccine currently available.
Health officials in the southern Indian state of Kerala said Tuesday that besides the 10 dead, two more are in critical condition, with dozens others in quarantine.
Symptoms can begin with headache and drowsiness but quickly transform into a coma within a matter of days.
