இன்று கர்நாடக சட்டசபையில் நடக்கும் நம்பிக்கை வாக்கெடுப்பில் விதி எண் 340 மற்றும் விதி எண் 346 ஆகியவை மிக முக்கியமான பங்கு வகிக்கிறது. அதேபோல் இந்திய அரசியலமைப்பு சட்டம் 189 (1)ம் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கிறது. இன்று மாலை 4 மணிக்கு பாஜகவின் எடியூரப்பா அரசு கர்நாடக சட்டசபையில் தங்களது பெரும்பான்மையை நிரூபிக்க வேணடும். தற்போது சட்டசபையின் பலம் 222. ஆனால் இரண்டு தொகுதிகளில் வெற்றிபெற்ற குமாரசாமியின் ஒரு தொகுதி கணக்கில் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப்படாது. இதனால் தற்போதைய பலம் 221 மட்டுமே.

In all likelihood the Speaker, would apply Rule 346 by which voting would be done through a voice vote with the members says either ‘ayes’ or ‘nay.’ The Speaker would then determine the outcome on the voice vote. In case his decision is challenged then he would clear the lobbies, close the doors and then put the motion to a voice vote again.
