Firefighters, Public Help at Scene of Havana Plane Crash

A Boeing 737 plane carrying 104 passengers and nine crew members crashed next to José Martí International Airport in Havana, Cuba, on May 18, according to the state-run Prensa Latina news agency.Emergency services responded to the scene, along with officials including President Miguel Díaz-Canel, the agency said. The plane was reported to be have been flying between Havana and Holguín. It was operated by Mexican airline Damojh (Global Air) and leased by Cubana de Aviación, according to official reports. Damojh specializes in leasing aircraft.This footage shows firefighters hosing down the plane, a victim being rushed away, and various members of the public attending to the scene.
