Hillary Clinton on Friday responded to the school shooting in Santa Fe, Texas.

In the wake of a school shooting in Texas on Friday that claimed the lives of nine students and one teacher, Hillary Clinton took to Twitter and posted her response.
"Every day that we fail to act on gun violence, we are failing our children. This should be a day for soul searching across America - and that soul searching should be matched with legislating to begin dealing with this national shame," Clinton tweeted.
According to NBC News, "a 17-year-old student clad in a trench coat and armed with three weapons allegedly barged inside a classroom and fired several shots."
In his delivered remarks on the shooting at Santa Fe High School, President Trump said, "This has been going on too long in our country. Too many years. Too many decades now."
"We grieve for the terrible loss of life, and send our support and love to everyone affected by this absolutely horrific attack," Trump added. "To the students, families, teachers, and personnel at Santa Fe High: We're with you in this tragic hour, and we will be with you forever."
