Connecticut residents on Wednesday, May 16, assessed damage after possible tornadoes ripped through the state the previous evening. Wild weather ripped down trees and power lines and caused damage to homes in several areas.The National Weather Service said it had teams in several towns to assess the damage and determine if tornadoes had touched down.In Brookfield, where this video was taken, the first selectman declared a disaster, a news report said.
