Several lightning strikes were seen near Warminster in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, May 15, as severe storms in the US Northeast left a trail of damage, power outages, and at least three people dead.The Daily Freeman said an 11-year-old girl died in Newburgh when a tree fell on the car she was traveling in. The Hartford Courant said a man was killed in Danbury when a tree fell on his truck. A third person was killed by a falling tree in New Fairfield, Connecticut.Also in Danbury, the Courant said, a teenager was badly injured when he was hit by the roof of a baseball dugout that was ripped off by strong winds at Henry Abbott Technical High School.ABC said nearly half a million people were without power.
