Lava Explodes From Fissures in Lanipuna Gardens, Hawaii

Hawaii resident Andrew Hara captured video of lava exploding from a fissure in the Lanipuna Gardens neighborhood of Puna, Hawaii, on May 13.Nineteen such fissures had opened by May 14, the USGS reported, in volcanic activity that followed a strong earthquake near the Kilauea volcano on May 4.
