Lava burst from the ground near Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano on May 5, following a magnitude-6.9 earthquake the day before.This specific footage was filmed on Luana Street in Pahoa, Hawaii. The US Geological Survey said the quake, the strongest in Hawaii since 1975, took place near Leilani Estates. Eruptions followed and at least five homes had been destroyed, Hawaii News Now reported.
