Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. It's been dusty all day here in Korea. This bad air quality is expected to remain through the night,... even into tomorrow morning, so wash your hands thoroughly and wear a mask.
Along with the high concentrations of fine dust, the country will see high temperature readings tomorrow,... feeling much like mid-summer. In addition, the UV levels will be high or very high.
Taking a closer look at the readings,... Seoul will begin the morning at 16 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gyeongju will be about the same at 16 and 15 degrees as well.
The daily highs will be the highest of the season so far in Seoul,... expect the mercury to hit 28 degrees,...while Daegu and Gyeongju will top 30 and 31 degrees respectively.
The unseasonably hot weather is expected to ease as of Wednesday with rain falling across the country. Rain is in the forecast until the end of the week, so have your umbrellas handy.
