Hello I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update. If you were judging just by the heat today, we'd be well into summer. Sunny skies always come with high UV and ozone levels, and they were very high today in practically the whole country. They won't let up tomorrow either, so make sure to prep yourselves well before going outside.
In fact, the mercury is expected to shoot up even higher. Cities in nearby countries, like Beijing, will be topping 36 degrees Celsius,... so I guess we should count ourselves somewhat lucky.
Tomorrow morning, Seoul will wake up to 18 degrees Celsius. Daegu and Gyeongju are warm too, but a little cooler at 15 and 13 degrees.
Under continuous sunny skies, Seoul, Daejeon, Daegu and Gwangju top out in the thirties,... while Jeju is significantly more comfortable at 24 degrees.
Over the next few days, the morning lows will be stable while the highs will stay on the hot side. But then on Tuesday, clouds will bring the temperature down a few notches.
