Tripura CM Biplab Deb's controversial statement is still on. Biplab Deb is highlighted not because of his work in the state but due to his absurd statements. His statements are getting a lot of fame from the party. On the birth anniversary of Ravindranath Tagore, Biplab deb said that Tagore had return his Nobel Prize in opposition to the British, while he did not do so.

त्रिपुरा सीएम बिप्लब देब के अटपटें बयानों का दौर जारी है । बिप्लब देव राज्य में अपने कामों की वजह से अपने बेतुके बयानों की वजह से ज्यादा चर्चा में है । उनके बयानों से पार्टी की काफ़ी फ़ज़ीहत हो रही है। रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर की जयंती पर बिप्लब देब ने कहा कि टैगोर ने अंग्रेज़ों के विरोध में अपना नोबेल पुरस्कार लौटा दिया था, जबकि उन्होंने ऐसा नहीं किया था ।
