Biplab Kumar Deb has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Tripura. For the first time, the BJP government has come to power in Tripura and with this, Biplab has become the youngest Chief Minister of the state till date. Born in Tripura, Bipbal went to Delhi for further studies after completing his graduation from Tripura University. In Delhi, he also worked as a professional gym instructor. In 2016, BJP had entrusted Biplab incharge of the state.

बिप्‍लब कुमार देब ने त्रिपुरा के मुख्‍यमंत्री के तौर पर शपथ ले ली है। त्रिपुरा में पहली बार बीजेपी सरकार आई है और पिछले 25 वर्षों में पहला सत्‍ता परिवर्तन हुआ है। बिप्‍लब इस राज्‍य के अब तक के सबसे युवा CM बने हैं। साल 2016 में बीजेपी ने बिप्लब को त्रिपुरा राज्‍य के प्रभारी की जिम्‍मेदारी सौंपी थी। बिप्लब अपनी ग्रेजुएशन की पढ़ाई त्रिपुरा यूनिवर्सिटी से करने के बाद आगे की पढ़ाई के लिए दिल्‍ली आ गए थे जहाँ उन्‍होंने प्रोफेशनल जिम इंस्‍ट्रक्‍टर के तौर पर भी काम किया था
