At least two people were killed and 14 injured in mortar attacks in Damascus on May 9, according to the Syrian state news agency, SANA.The mortar shells were reported to have been launched from the Yarmouk Camp, a mainly Palestinian area south of the city that is held by Islamic State, and the location of an ongoing offensive by Syrian state forces.The Damascus Tower in Marjeh Square was damaged. Damage was also reported in the city’s Maysat Square.
