Two Koreas to begin and end Panmunjom hotline simutaneously following Pyongyang's time change

The two Koreas can now simultaneously open their Panmunjom hotline at 9 a.m. and end it at 4 p.m.,... following North Korea's time-zone change over the weekend.
According to Seoul's unification ministry,... North Korea called South Korea through the hotline at the truce village of Panmunjom... at 9:03 this morning.
This stands in contrast... to how the North didn't receive the South's call at 9 for the past three years... because of the 30-minute time difference.
From August 2015, North Korean time was 30 minutes behind that of Seoul.
But following Kim Jong-un's decision,... North Korea unified its time zone with South Korea over the weekend.
Seoul's unification ministry said... the (quote)"abnormal" hotline operation has ended.
