Navy senior goalkeeper Ingrid Boyum worked with dolphins as part of the U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program in San Diego during her summer military training. This program is administered by the U.S. Navy, which studies the military use of marine mammals. Boyum worked with the bottlenose dolphins, which are instrumental in harbor protection and mine detection.
