TV star Bill Cosby and Oscar-winning director Roman Polanski have been expelled from the US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
In a statement released on Thursday, the group behind the Academy Awards said its decision was in accordance with the organization's Standards of Conduct.
Cosby was found guilty of sex crimes last week.
Polanski admitted to having unlawful sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977.
