Our viewer Tirthendu Dey tells us that this is the true picture of what you're seeing here: "This is a video of a Salt Lake ward during the Kolkata Municipal elections in 2014. Trinamool Congress party workers led by MLA Sujeet Bose conducted a bloody election and beat up every voter who was suspected to be voting against them. When the local people protested they brought about 70 or 80 mercenaries from Kamarhati and Metiabruz and created a ruckus."
A protest called by Congress here led to crazy scenes amidst a lathicharge by police and stone-pelting by the workers of the opposition party, who claimed that their senior leaders were hurt in the police action. Take a look.
