Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma attended the Shiva Charitra event in Belagavi on March 16.

While addressing the public he talked about infiltration attempts by Bangladesh and how these incidents are hampering the culture and traditions of India.

“People from Bangladesh come to Assam and create a threat to our civilization and culture... I was asked the question that you have closed 600 madrassas, so I said that I intend to close all madrassas, because we don't want madrassas. schools, colleges and universities are required in the country,” said Himanta Biswa Sarma.

“Congress is again working to weaken India. Earlier the Mughals had weakened the country. Congress is today's new Mughal. They have objections when the Ram temple is built. Are you a mogul kid,” he added.
