Here's a bitesize demo of a 'Pirouette' taken from The London Children's Ballet production of 'Ballet Shoes' performed in 2001.

Definition: A non-traveling turn on one leg, of one or more rotations, often starting with one or both legs in pliŽ and rising onto demi-pointe or pointe.
