Here's a bitesize demo of a 'Piqué Arabesque' taken from The London Children's Ballet production of 'Ballet Shoes' performed in 2001.

Definition: A movement in which the raised, pointed foot of the working leg is lowered so that it pricks the floor and then becomes a supporting foot, with the other leg (the working leg) turned out and extended behind the body
