Wild looking Naga sadhus at India's biggest Hindu congregation

Now don't go and flag this video down for nudity! This is a serious
religious practice from India and a publicly-attended spectacle
too, and, as documentary filmmakers from India, it is our duty to
show you all there is to be seen in India - warts and all!
Nudity at the Ardh Kumbh with hundreds of naked Naga sadhus doesn't fall under either 'obscenity' or 'nudity'. Odd isn't it?
Naga Sadhus are categorized into Akharas, just like regiments in an army. They hold sticks, spears, swords and trident as a symbol of their identity. Some of the prominent Naga Akharas are Sanyasi Akhara, Bajrangi Akhara and Nirmal Akhara which are further subdivided into numbers of Akharas. Almost all the Akharas of Naga Sadhus take out a procession and go for a Holy Dip during the Ardh kumbh or Mahakumbh Mela. The processions led by Mahamandleshwars (their head teachers), riding horses. The Nagas carry swords and other weapons in the procession.
