Syrian girl receives award for live-tweeting civil war

An eight-year-old Syrian girl has been awarded the Rising Star at the 2018 Asian Awards for raising awareness of the plight of citizens in the country's civil war. Bana al-Abed live-tweeted the Aleppo bombing in 2016. She spoke to ITV News about her experiences of the war Report by Jonesia.
