A new beginning: North Korea's Kim Jong Un meets South Korean prez Moon Jae-in
  • 6 years ago
The leaders of North and South Korea met for the first time in over a decade on April 27 over the Military Demarcation Line that divides the two countries. In a gesture laden with symbolism, North's leader Kim Jong Un shook hands with South Korean president Moon Jae-in in the truce village of Panmunjom. The summit between the divided neighbours is only the third of of its kind since hostilities ceased in 1953.
