At least two firefighters were killed and several others critically injured after tackling a forest fire in La Montanita, Honduras, on Wednesday, April 25.The dead firefighters were named in a report by La Tribuna as Josue Vargas and Felipe Santiago Varela. Three other firefighters – Obilson Santos, Ever Miguel Velasquez and Oscar Madrid – suffered serious burns in the blaze, the newspaper reported.This aerial video shows the fire continuing to burn overnight.
