Car emissions regulated starting today to fight fine dust problem

The Ministry of Environment will intensively crack down on automobile exhaust emissions in 17 cities and provinces starting today,... to try to reduce fine dust levels this spring.
Some 240 sites, including bus terminals, parking lots, and highway sliproads will be heavily monitored.
The government also plans to crack down on over four-thousand buses and school buses that frequently enter city centers.
Owners of vehicles exceeding the permitted emission standards will be ordered to fix the vehicle within 15 days,... or face a ten-day suspension.
