Federal Ethics Office is Concerned About Scott Pruitt

The federal government’s top ethics official wants the EPA to check out possible violations by EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt.
According to David Apol, acting director of the Office of Government Ethics, Pruitt’s living arrangements, use of taxpayer dollars and staffing decisions are concerning.
Apol informed Kevin Minoli, the EPA’s top ethics official, through a letter obtained by the New York Times.
In the letter, Apol states the American public needs confidence that ethics violations are investigated and appropriately addressed.
According to Apol, Pruitt has reportedly lived in a Capitol Hill townhouse co-owned by the wife of an energy lobbyist.
His letter also called into question Pruitt's extensive use of bodyguards, with a security detail 3 times the size of his predecessor.
