Judge Makes Pretrial Rulings for Cosby's Retrial

Pretrial arrangements will make Bill Cosby's second sexual assault trial significantly different from the first one.
Cosby's first trial ended with a deadlocked jury in June 2017, prompted a retrial.
The 80-year-old comedian stands accused of sexually assaulted Andrea Constand over a decade ago at his Philadelphia-area home.
Although the trial is currently in jury selection, Judge Steven O'Neill had some pretrial rulings on witnesses and evidence which can be presented at trial.
According to Judge O'Neill, the defense can call a witness who claims Constand spoke of framing a celebrity prior to contacting police back in 2005.
The judge also ruled that the amount Cosby paid to Constand in a 2006 settlement can be presented to the jury.
