Satellite imagery analysis of N. Korea's nuclear test site shows much reduced activity compared to previous months: 38 North

A report by U.S.-based North Korea monitoring site 38 North has refuted Japanese foreign minister Taro Kono's recent claim that North Korea appears to be preparing for another nuclear test.
38 North's report on Monday said analysis of commercial satellite imagery of the North's nuclear test site does not back up the Japanese diplomat's claim.
The report went on to say that satellite images of the Punggye-ri nuclear test site from March 23rd show activity at the site has been significantly reduced,... compared to prior months.
However,... the report added it's still likely the North is maintaining the readiness of the nuclear test facility.
