IOC chief begins three-day visit to North Korea for talks on sports issues

An Olympic delegation headed by IOC chief Thomas Bach is in Pyongyang after they were invited by the regime's leader Kim Jong-un during the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.
Bach, who played a key role in allowing North Korea to participate in the PyeongChang Games,... landed late Thursday,... and met with North Korea's sports minister Kim Il-guk and the North's IOC representative Chang Ung .
The IOC says discussions will focus on the development of sports in North Korea and the preparation of North Korean athletes to take part in upcoming Olympics.
It's unclear whether Bach will meet with Kim Jong-un during his stay.
