At least 37 people have been killed in a fire that ripped through a shopping center in western Siberia.
Ro Aram has the details.
The blaze erupted on Sunday at about 5 p.m., local time, on the upper floor of the Winter Cherry complex, which is located in the city of Kemerovo.
More than a hundred people were evacuated and some 20 others were rescued.
Local state news agencies report that about 70 people are still missing - most of them children.
Videos posted online show people jumping from windows to escape the fire.
Many of the victims were reported to be in a cinema, where the fire is believed to have started.
The roof of two theaters inside the cinema collapsed and the deputy governor of the Kemerovo region said 13 bodies had been found in one of them.
The flames are reported to have consumed more than one and a half thousand square meters of the shopping center.
The fire was contained after a few hours, but as of yet there is no immediate indication as to how it started and an investigation has been launched.
Local officials say about 300 emergency personnel are taking part in the search and rescue operation.
Winter Cherry was built in 2013 and, as well as the cinema, houses restaurants, a sauna, a bowling alley and a children's zoo.
