Rod Stewart used Witch Doctor to cure food poisoning before Rio gig

Rod Stewart? Witch Doctors? Food poisoning? Copacabana Beach? Life really is stranger than fiction sometimes, and this is no exception.
Speaking to Andy Cohen, the 73-year-old British singer revealed a bizarre story from New Years Eve in 1994.
Rod was on the verge of playing the largest free rock concert in history. 4.2 million people were crammed onto Copacabana Beach in Rio De Janeiro, all dying to see the Rod do his thing.
Only problem was, Rod ate something that really didn’t want to stay in his stomach. But rather than cancel the show, he said, “they called a Witch Doctor” who gave him a jab and he was alright. “Just about.”
So Rod was able to perform and 1995 began without a hitch.
