Senators Introduce Bill to Protect Animals on Flights
  • 6 years ago
Senators Introduce Bill to Protect Animals on Flights The bill, called the Welfare Of Our Furry Friends (WOOFF) Act, is filed just a few days after a dog died on a United Airlines flight. If the bill passes, animals will no longer be allowed in overhead compartments and regulations and fines would be put in place to prevent it. On Monday, a dog died on a flight from Houston to New York when its family was forced to put it in an overheard bin by a flight attendant. We assume full responsibility for this tragedy and express our deepest condolences to the family and are committed to supporting them. We are thoroughly investigating what occurred to prevent this from ever happening again.
