Driver dies in single-vehicle crash

A person died early Wednesday after a single-vehicle crash in the northwest valley. Police were called to Jones Boulevard near Deer Springs Way around 1:35 a.m. When they got to the scene, they discovered a silver sedan wedged between a light pole and a brick wall. The driver, the only person in the vehicle, died at the scene.
