Good afternoon. We'll see increasing clouds across the nation, and highs will be a tad lower than yesterday. Seoul, Daejeon, Daegu and Busan will reach 10 degrees this afternoon.

There's rain in the forecast for Jeju and the southern coastal regions this afternoon before it spreads to the rest of the country by Thursday. Seoul will also see a mix of rain and sleet overnight with up to 10 millimeters expected.

That band of rain will bring down temperatures a couple of notches, but starting next week we should feel the warmth of spring.

And soon the nation will be covered with pink and yellow. Jeju could see forsythias blooming as early this weekend, while those of us in Seoul will have to wait another 3 weeks or so to see the spring blossom.

With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.

While most parts of the nation will be overcast with relatively mild temperatures,... some parts of North Korea will see snow and clouds.

As for the rest of Asia, Beijing's dry spell is likely to continue with some smog expected.
Meanwhile, down in Wellington it will be rainy until Friday, so have an umbrella handy.

Heading to North America, a strong winter storm is threatening to deliver gusty winds and heavy snow to the Northeast regions of the U.S. with winter storm watches or warnings being issued.

As for South America, most cities will have a repeat of Tuesday's weather conditions.

Taking you to Europe,... Madrid will have sunny skies, while Rome, Paris, and London will have a showery Wednesday.

Lastly to Africa, Algiers will be rainy, while Cairo will have a scorcher with highs of 35 degrees.
