A worse-for-wear dad plants a kiss on his son's new wife in front of horrified guests at a wedding in China.

In the video, filmed on February 22 in Yancheng City in eastern China's Jiangsu Province, the father-in-law can be seen with his arm around the bride walking a stage in front of lots of guests.

However, he suddenly walks around her, stops in front of her and plants his lips on hers, to jeers from those watching on.

Local media said the father deeply regretted his inappropriate behavior once he had sobered up.
