According to legal experts, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s indictment of 13 Russian individuals and three organizations for interfering in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, is setting the stage for the prosecution of Americans who may have helped the Russian effort. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein told reporters on Friday there was no allegation in the indictment that any American knew about the alleged scheme.
