Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended a $1 billion line of credit to Mongolia on Sunday to support its infrastructure development and economic expansion as the two countries upgraded their ties to “strategic partnership” and agreed to deepen defence cooperation. Modi is the first Indian PM to visit the central Asian country.
