Those living in the Portland, Oregon, metro area woke up to snow on Wednesday, February 14, but the snow wasn’t expected to last.The National Weather Service said the snow was expected to melt by the morning commute and rain was in the forecast for Wednesday in lower elevations.A group of ducks and geese at Hanson’s Hideaway Farm in La Center, Washington, just north of Portland, didn’t know what to make of the four inches of snow that fell.
